Dower Lake is home to Minnesota’s longest fishing pier, at 612 feet, where you might be able to catch bass, walleye, or northern pike. The park also offers a robust lineup of recreation, including a 9-hole disc golf course, and there are several other good fishing lakes nearby. Weather permitting, the swimming beach has regular lifeguard hours. The campsites don’t allow for much privacy, however, as they’re crowded together along a triple loop. Pets are allowed.
