The campground in Sherin Memorial Park is along the Pelican River and connected to another park, E.L. Peterson Park, across the river via a large suspension bridge. Sherin Park itself has water access and a playground, although E.L. Peterson Park has a larger playground. Fishing might net you some walleye and northern pike, even when fishing from shore. Paved walking paths go through the park. Given that it’s right within Pelican Rapids, it’s easy to walk into town for some shopping or a bite to eat. Pets are allowed.
