Chippewa Park is between Little Chippewa Lake and Devils Lake, with access to both for plenty of fishing and swimming opportunities. The road from the park connects to the Central Lakes State Trail, a 55-mile paved biking trail. The park also has some historic value: During its creation, it was discovered that the land was the site of the first two Douglas County fairs, and evidence was found pointing to human life in the area around AD 1000. Pets are allowed.
