Located within George Washington State Forest, this primitive campground allows campers to use portable corrals or electric fences as long as they don’t encircle trees. There are 60 miles of horse trails within the forest, as well as extensive hiking and mountain biking trails. (Note: The forest is open to hunters, so take precautions if camping during hunting season.) The campsites are generously spaced. Pets are allowed.
