Located within Superior National Forest, this campground is along Section 29 Lake, which is a good source of walleye and northern pike. (Note: The northeastern portion of the lakeshore was damaged in a forest fire in 2011 and still has standing burned trees that are fragile and can be dangerous.) There is no drinking water, so plan accordingly, and all garbage must be packed out. Winter camping is allowed, but roads may not be plowed. Pets are allowed.
