Ninemile Lake offers good fishing, but it also has numerous bays and islands for exploring. Extensive hiking trails from the campground entrance allow campers to explore 5 miles of boreal hardwood forest and its related wildlife and plants. Nearby is access to the Crooked Lake Canoe Route. Campsites are given generous space and trees in between for maximum privacy. Some of the sites are on the lake, and the others have a footpath leading there. Pets are allowed.
