On the far end of the Gunflint Trail is this rustic campground on the shores of Flour Lake, a good fishing lake where you can expect to catch walleye, lake trout, and smallmouth bass. It’s also remote enough for excellent wildlife viewing and bird watching. Flour Lake has portage entry points into the Boundary Waters on its east side, connecting with East Bearskin Lake and Moon Lake. Each campsite is spaced for plenty of privacy with trees in between. Pets are allowed.
