Crescent Lake is a good (and often underutilized) fishing lake, where walleye, muskie, and northern pike can be caught. It’s also popular with canoers, who use Crescent Lake as a jumping- off point to portage to several neighboring lakes. The campsites are spaced amply for privacy, with most near the lakeshore, facing east to catch the sunrise. A very short (0.25 mile) hiking trail gives some good vantage points in Superior National Forest. Pets are allowed.
