These campsites are within Chippewa National Forest, along Cut Foot Sioux Lake, known for its walleye, bluegill, and northern pike populations. From this lake boaters can also access the much larger Lake Winnie. Campsites all have fire rings and latrines, and some have picnic tables. Bears have been spotted in the vicinity, so take precautions, especially regarding food storage. Water is not drinkable, so plan accordingly. All campsites are haul- out sites. Call the forest service for specific directions (and for information on which sites are best). Pets are allowed.
