A shuttle hike or loop is available along three different creek drainages and through lush meadows. This hike also serves as an entrance point to a wild, roadless area in the Caribou Mountains. The trail begins after you cross the bridge over Tin Cup Creek at its confluence with the South Fork of Tin Cup Creek. Continue hiking on the trail along the right side of the South Fork of Tin Cup. This riparian or riverland area is a delicate home to many plant and animal species. Beavers are commonly seen in the creek, busy at work. Sheep are grazed periodically in this general area but keep along the drier hillsides.
