This quiet little bay north of Port Ludlow is just right for paddling practice or touring anchored yachts. The bay has a pastoral feel to it, with residences generally low key and set back from the shore. A narrow, tree-lined entrance leads out to interesting offshore rocks, popular with divers, less than 0.5 mile away. You can extend this trip by paddling to or from Port Ludlow about 3 miles away.

Started at Odlin Park, Lopez Island. Went north side of Shaw Island to Jones Island where we stayed overnight. Returned to Lopaz I.around the South side of Shaw. Great weather, our first saltwater paddle! Got the last ferry back before they closed 9/11
