my wife and I Kayaked the river, we are experienced Kayakers and canoeist and at first thought the info was correct, class 1 suitable for beginners. On the river just below Hodgson rd we ran into white water and a complete log jam with a very bad "strainer" our kayaks and all our gear got pulled under along with us, we were lucky to make it out alive. The important thing is that other people be warned of this danger so some family with small children do not die on that strech of river.
