This is a nice little pond located right in the town of Freedom. It gets used by fishermen in small boats and canoes, but you should have it pretty much to yourself during the week. There is little development, except at the boat-access area and on the opposite end of the pond. As you leave the boat access in the northeast cove, curve to the right to explore the extensive marshy area along the north central section of the pond. The floating islands in this marsh extend well out into the pond and will take a long time to explore fully. The rest of the shoreline lacks marshy areas, although aquatic vegetation occurs everywhere in this very shallow pond.
