Small, shallow, and with a tiny, rustic boat access, Shapleigh Pond sees few visitors. Several houses cluster near the boat access, but the rest of the area is fairly free of development. If you paddle up the Little Ossipee River into Hansen and Smarts ponds, you undoubtedly will be alone in this little patch of wilderness. Prominent fish species: largemouth bass and chain pickerel in Hansen and Shapleigh ponds; smallmouth bass in the stream; chain pickerel in Smarts Pond.

I wanted to do this kayaking trip but apparently you can only do part of it. Please remove this from the site as its a waste of time looking at it.
