Nestled in the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) State Forest, Upper Highland Lake is a recreation destination with camping, hiking, and paddling available. A beautiful stand of hemlock graces this site, but how long it can withstand the hemlock woolly adelgid onslaught is an open question.
