Quinebaug River Water Trail represents one of the finest quietwater resources in Massachusetts. With virtually no current, it wends its way for more than 4 miles through a wildlife-filled swampland. Look for deer, muskrat, beaver, otter, turtles, ducks, geese, and songbirds.

Very nice paddle through marshes, easy ride, leads into nice big lake at the end before heading back. Allow 2-3 hours round trip. Worth the ride.
