Edgartown Great Pond is one of our favorite paddling spots in Massachusetts. Wildlife abounds. Look for osprey, herons and egrets, and tree-top warblers. You might see otter and least tern and piping plover on the dunes. Salt-tolerant plants inhabit most of the shoreline, with occasional salt-intolerant plants in some coves, leading to high plant species diversity.
