This trip follows the Voyageurs route along the international border from Magnetic Lake north to Saganaga Lake. It offers peaceful lakes, placid stretches of rivers, roaring waterfalls, and white-water rapids. Both the Pine River and the uniquely picturesque Granite River are followed downstream. This trip is a short, but favorite, route for many who enjoy shooting rapids or retracing ancient routes. The fishing is good along the entire trip. Independence Day storm–affected area.
