Portage from the Moose River north parking lot to the Moose River. Paddle downstream on the river through two lakes. A short trip on another river leads to Lac La Croix. Paddle the length of this gigantic lake, go through big Loon Lake, and find a river to travel south to the Echo Trail again. See waterfalls, pictographs, and Warrior Hill. Wildlife is about and the fishing should be great. Berry picking can be good in season. Motors are allowed on part of the route. Independence Day storm–impacted area.
