This trip has both river and lake traveling on both large and small lakes. A few of the portages are very long. This is a rugged expedition, if the whole trip is completed. There are several places to take out before the complete trip is finished, however. Fishing opportunities abound; moose, deer, eagles, and waterfowl can be seen; and scenic river corridors and lovely wilderness lakes can be enjoyed. Berry picking can be good, in season. This trip should not be attempted in low-water conditions.
