A picturesque historic park that provides access to the best paddling waters in Big Bay de Noc. Fayette State Park is a great launching point for paddlers interested in exploring the eastern shoreline of Michigan’s picturesque Garden Peninsula. The shoreline of the park itself includes 3 miles of sandy beaches, sheltered bays, and high limestone bluffs. In addition, visiting kayakers often stray beyond the park’s boundaries to explore the rugged islands, limestone cliffs, and cobblestone beaches that also grace the peninsula shoreline.
