Baptism River is typical of North Shore streams, it is steep, twisting, and potentially lethal. This run is for experts only. The Baptism should not be attempted except by accomplished whitewater boaters who have bomb-proof rolls and are comfortable in class IV water. There are several unrunnable falls give little warning. Stay on your toes and be ready to grab an eddy.
