One of the most scenic trails you'll ever do. It starts at Allison trail head and goes to right crossing the creek waist high or less. Go up hill gradually till you have beautiful overlook of valley and creek. You will pass several nice bluff lines on right, one I call the cathedral. You'll see why! Next the trail passes right under a bluff. At about the 2 1/2 mile mark you will cross a tributary creek and just to your left a nice 5 foot waterfall with pool underneath. Just across the creek a campsite with fire ring, and down the hill on Sylamore Creek is a special swimming called Mary Jane's Hole. Cactus, wildflowers and deer are abundant as you stroll on down to a Y in the trail, be looking it as the main trail goes to the right. As you come up on a road trail just to your left is swimming with boulder to jump off of. On the trail it's level and side by side hiking, another mile or so down and there is a beautiful spring coming down the fern laced hillside. Then on to Blanchard Springs Campground.
