The section from Fairdale to Arnett is one of the best and prettiest intermediate runs in West Virginia. The scenery is just beautiful; the lush, wooded banks and high sandstone cliffs create a feeling of wildness. From Arnett to Rock Creek, the scenery is fairly remote and quite pretty, with few signs of civilization. The trash increases proportionally to the degree of “civilization.
