In addition to the exciting and continuous whitewater, the pastoral scenery blends well with the rural development. For the first 7 miles on this small river with continuous, tight rapids, the water is Class 2–3. After dropping over a 3-foot ledge, things pick up to Class 3 for several miles. Then you’ll encounter a pool formed by a mill dam built on a natural ledge. This is runnable on the far right. Nothing below here is over Class 1.
