This is a small mountain stream. The meat of the run occurs in three rocky sections known as Rock Pile no. 1, no. 2, and no. 3. At low water this is a plastic-boat run that requires tight maneuvering and precise boat control. At the old bridge at the confluence of Laurel Creek and Cherry River there may be log jams. Usually the left side is clear, but be careful.
