This is a good place for Class-3 boaters when the area gets hammered by rain and the Rockville gauge is reading 8 feet and rising! The second section has tougher whitewater than the Bruceton-to-Rockville section of the Big Sandy and is a very popular alternative. At low water it’s picky and technical; at high levels it’s very fast and continuous.
