As mentioned in the Burns to Frenchglen route (Ride 70), this route is intended as a companion to that one. Basically, if you’re in Frenchglen or in the area and want to get back to Burns, this is an interesting way to do it that doesn’t just retrace State Route 205. It adds the option to go see (or stay at) the Hotel Diamond, literally the only thing that makes Diamond more than two houses in a shady spot at the end of the paved road.
