One of the great things about taking people on this ride is seeing their jaws drop when they get their ?rst glimpse of the volcanic lava moonscape at the top—usually at Windy Point, coming from the Sisters side. It’s like absolutely nothing else you’ll see from your bike, ever. But that’s not the only reason to do this ride; it’s also a quintessential Cascades forest ride, o?ering both a climbing challenge and some delightful descending.
