Riding in Oregon, it’s easy to get caught up in different ideals of beauty: craggy mountains draped in white, seemingly bottomless deep blue lakes, rugged coastal headlands. But I think I’d rather ride alongside a stream than anything else. The sound of running water is so soothing, plus there’s usually a nice leafy canopy above and the road is rarely straight.
