Discovering a new neighborhood is one of the joys of urban bicycling, and this route guides you through some less-traveled areas of Seattle. A couple of the neighborhoods, like Georgetown and Sodo, may not have the bike traf?c of some other neighborhoods because the biking “infrastructure” of bike lanes, dedicated trails, and signed routes has come more recently. But ?nally it has arrived, so not only can you ?nd some new urban haunts but you can spin through the city going east and west, making these new routes vital connections in our heretofore divided city.
