This short tour skirts the edges of hilly Magnolia and stops for a visit at the ship canal locks and an exploration of the grand open spaces of Discovery Park. Aside from some climbing, it’s an easy ride on low-traf?c neighborhood streets. This route can be ridden in either direction, though the clockwise route outlined here spreads out the climbing just a bit and makes it more pleasant. But if you try it in the other direction, the views will be completely different, and it will be a good workout too!
