Many bicycle tours in Seattle take the rider to landmarks, through parks, and in front of stupendous views. Here’s a ride to take when you just want to poke around neighborhoods, discover the best biking streets, and do a little shopping. In its quick 14 miles, you ride through six unique areas where small shops abound. Departing from the northeast side of Green Lake, ride along the lake’s north shore and climb a bit to the Greenwood neighborhood. You’ll see the city’s green bike route signs as you cross Fremont Avenue North, because turning right here would take you north to the Interurban Trail that connects to Shoreline and Edmonds. Greenwood also offers a detour
