Located on the Issaquah Plateau, the Beaver Lake Trail System is microchip small but excellent for quick rides when you’re pressed for time. Three to five small singletrack loops connect to form a 3-to-6-mile surly circuit of rolling trails. Physically fit novice riders can probably handle Beaver Lake; intermediate and advanced riders will get a small jolt out of some of the more challenging technical problems scattered throughout the ride. Beaver Lake is a fantastic fix for fat-tire junkies who need a midweek evening-ride destination. Located within thirty minutes of Seattle, and even less from most areas on the East Side, Beaver Lake is 100 percent singletrack and grade AAA fun. Trail surface: Singletrack.

Really a beautiful little trail so close to the city. There are about a million different trails all criss crossing but some benevolent soul has marked each intesection on a map with a corresponding number making it virtually impossible for you to get lost or turned around. I had my dog with me and was worried I would get yelled at by the leash mafia but everyone else there seemed to have to have the same idea as me.
