Highlights: Interesting, challenging riding for the technically skilled rider. There are great views from Pearrygin Peak. The high altitude (from 4,800 to 6,600 feet) and tree-shaded riding make it a good choice for a hot day. Connections with Pearrygin Creek Trail and Blue Buck Trail make a very long loop possible. Tread: All singletrack. The unmarked trail starts from the very end of the road. It climbs through a shady forest of small trees. 1.9 The trail crosses Pearrygin Creek, then climbs steeply up to the ridge. 2.5 Junction with the side trail to Pearrygin Peak. This leads—in 0.4 mile and 410 vertical feet—to the abandoned lookout site on the peak.
