The 11.4-mile Pearrygin Lake Loop is a good introductory tour to the Winthrop area on which you can take your non-single-track riding partners. The moderate-level effort is also a good choice when your non-riding companions tour the quaint town of Winthrop and want you to leave the car in town. It's a good workout, it'll show you some pretty views, and maybe you'll catch sight of some mule deer, pheasant, and grouse in the Methow Wildlife area.
