This little jaunt is an urban, rather genteel, mountain bike ride, suitable for families and true beginners. It's only 2.6 flat, non-technical miles around the lake, but the ride can be part of a day of riding, swimming, picnicking, fishing, paddling, ballplaying, and other activities that a lake-improved city park affords. The gravel trail around the lake is wide and smooth, perfect for riding two, three, or four-abreast and chatting while riding. The ride travels along the lakeshore almost throughout, and contains numerous short accesses to the lake.

For mountain bikers its kinda weak, unless you like being creative. But for families this is a great place to go. It is a short yet fun place to bike, walk, run, etc. And if you get tired after a while you can stop at Lake Paddon''s very own park. At the park you can rest and get somethin to drink and just have a fun time with friends and family. The loop will take you to both sides of the park. And off of the loop there are some other smaller trails. But overall this is a great place for family and/or friends. Have a fun time at the loop.
