The centerpiece of the trail is the quaint town of Roslyn, which was the site for filming the old "Northern Exposure" television series. The fictional town of Cicely, Alaska, is kept alive with the very real Brick Tavern, Roslyn Café, and Northwestern Improvement Company Store.
The James Dean mural in back of the Roslyn Theater is also a notable attraction, while the Roslyn Museum, located just west of the Roslyn Cafe, provides a wealth of information on the area's mining history. Along with other trail users, you might see deer, elk, skunk, or rabbits along the trail. Bear and cougar have been spotted, too; look for animal tracks as you ride.
