Great beginner single track. Short ride from west Bend. Semi-arid red sandstone in high chapparall with juniper and pine. Stop and inhale. The trail is well used and the riders are friendly. Bring plenty of water. It does get hot...

I think this is called Phil''s Helipad. Holy Cow, this trail kicked major booty. I con not hink of anything that I do not like about this trail except for the fact that I do not live as close to it as I would like. Let''s see it was abit dusty and dry, but heh, it is Eastern Oregon. The climb was nice and fast. My girlfriend and I did the climb in around an hour and fifteen minutes. It was very nice, not to steep and a couple fun technical rock spots. The best part was probably the tewnty minute down hill. Wooo hooooo. lightning fast, just watch out for those coming up. We both wish we would have started earlier. So go to this trail, if you do not like it give me a call I will take you out for a beer. Cheers.
