Although Spokane is the second-largest city in Washington State, is still has a frontier spirit. It's in a beautiful region of homestead farms and pine forest-covered hills surrounded by Mountains. This route is an ideal way to explore the striking countryside. Terrain: alternate rolling hills and flat valleys, with a major climb over Blanchard Pass. Roads are primarily in good shape, although some in Idaho have narrow shoulders.
