A nice afternoon road ride with the family; Fort Langley - the little townsite at the beginning and the end of the ride - is nice spot to poke around in little shops and enjoy some museums (and some ice cream). However, the ride description oversells a few aspects of the ride: (i) given the number of hills and the highway traffic encountered, I cannot recommend this ride for children under 10 or 11 - I took a 7 year old and regretted it (You'll want your children to have established riding ability, know how to handle a modest hill or two, and know how to ride with traffic.); and (ii) once you are outside of Fort Langley there are pretty well no sites of interest (shops, museums, parks ... etc.) to see/stop at along the route (Don't expect to find a spot to stop for a snack or to rest a while - there's precious little.)
