we drove the copper creek trail and the sibley mansion trail on 3/7/15. We are fairly new to the off road trail experince. We found these trails to be some of the most scenic we have been on so far. The desert and the surrounding mountains are especially green and lush this winter because of the resent rains. There was a rock slide across the copper creek trail just before the load hopper and iron bridge that required a high clearance vehicle. We then followed the the Sibley Mansion trail, which definately requires a high clearance vehicle. We where very disappointed to find a locked gate with a no trespassing sign just one mile short of the mansion. I have read on different web sites where people have walked from this gate up to the mansion. We did not as it was getting late in the day and we were not sure it would be legal to hike it anyway.
