you can turn left at goodwin a continue up to a 1800's mining town. the road is in pretty good sahpe when dry.
The trail was fairly easy, and well traveled. There seems to be quite a few locals who use the road daily. The trail offered some stunning views in the higher elevation. It was such a clear day that we could see all the way down to Black Canyon, and even the cars moving along Interstate 17. The trail turns into the Prescott National forest after a while and offers a peaceful ride through the trees. This is a fun ride for people who want a quick off highway experience. For those who want a longer trip, they can continue down Senator Highway back to Prescott.
