The Sego Ghost Town Trail may be short, but it makes up in beauty and historical interest what it lacks in length. This trail makes an easy side trip along I-70 if you want to take in some local scenery and don’t have much time. Special Attractions: Rock art panels; Sego ghost town and the old railroad grade; Connects with Sagers Canyon Trail and Floy Wash Trail; Panoramic views. High-clearance vehicles are preferred, but not necessary. This trail is dirt roads, but may have rocks, grades, water crossings, or ruts that make clearance a concern in a normal passenger vehicle. The trail is fairly wide, so that passing is possible at almost any point along the trail. Mud is not a concern under normal weather conditions.
