Initially, the Wedge Overlook Trail runs along a wide, maintained gravel road that travels through rolling brush country. After half a mile, a track on the right offers riverside access to Fuller Bottom Draw. The main trail continues toward the Wedge, and after a couple of miles the countryside turns into pleasant grassland dotted with pinyon and juniper. The trail offers numerous side roads that lead to plenty of good camping spots. Special Attractions: Many spectacular viewpoints into the Little Grand Canyon of the San Rafael River; Easy spur trail off Buckhorn Wash Trail; Many backcountry campsites. This trail is graded dirt but suitable for a normal passenger vehicle. It usually has gentle grades, is fairly wide, and has very shallow water crossings (if any).
