On Northern #1: Hardware Ranch Road, 21.6 miles from Hyrum, Strawberry Valley Trail heads northeast into a fairly shallow canyon. This relatively easy road follows beside a creek and travels through the scenic ranchland of Strawberry Valley. The trail enters Lodgepole Canyon and then crosses into Cottonwood Canyon before finally exiting onto the paved road to Laketown. Shortly after joining the paved road, the trail passes to the left of the old town site of Round Valley (and the walking track out to the old cemetery) as it travels through attractive, rolling ranchland. Special Attractions: Bear Lake; The town site of Round Valley; A gentle, easy, and scenic canyon road. This trail is graded dirt but suitable for a normal passenger vehicle. It usually has gentle grades, is fairly wide, and has very shallow water crossings (if any).
