Beatuiful ride thru hoodoos. Do not forget your camera and watch out for horses.
None of the climbing is very steep or technical. A Utah classic.
Without a doubt one of the most unique trails I have ever seen. Thunder Mtn. lives up to it's name, going from 80 degrees and hot to 60 degrees and hailing in a matter of minutes. Bring arm warmers and a light vest, no matter when you go. Also, if you have little tire clearance, run narrow (1.9) tires, as the ground turns to a burly clay when wet. An anaerobic race trainer for sure, the swoopy nature of the trail is like doing intervals for a couple of hours. Only one or two small technical sections (switchbacks), and that is why it didn't get the full 5 stars. Great fun though, and some sweet jumps and photo ops!
This has to be one of the best trails I have ever done. After completing a World-wide mountain bike trip, this is still one of the most enjoyable and scenic routes I have done.
Breath-taking with endless woops of up and down smooth terrain. Sandy, hot and at times lung blowing!
This is the most spectacular scenery. That's important because it takes your mind off of the difficult climg to the top. Parts of this trail look like Mars. The descent is fun, technical, and at times, hair raising. You ride down a ridge with a sharp dropoff. After you cross the creek at the bottom of the main descent, You are still travelling down, but there are water bars that are very fun to ride over.
