Bust out this loop during lunch break or whenever you need a quick amp-out, and you’ll return feeling it was time well spent. After a gradual spin out of Draper, you’ll face a 0.8mile-long wall up Wasatch Boulevard and then keep pumping up smaller inclines to Little Cottonwood Canyon Road. If you attack with gusto, you’ll peg your anaerobic threshold and keep it there for twenty minutes or more. Reward for your effort is the thrilling descent around tight curves on Dimple Dell Road followed by easy miles on a country-style lane. If you lift your eyes from your cyclometer, you’ll find the route first curves through an upscale residential community and then past pastures and horse ranches.
