This is a classic ride that traces the foothills of its namesake mountains. Gently rolling terrain and long flat stretches are kind to the legs of novice riders, and they make a perfect time trial course for racers-in-training. The views gained throughout the ride capture the essence of the metro-to-mountains transition of northern Utah. Two short, stiff climbs will call upon your power reserves, but the rest of the route is all about high-cadence spinning. You can tap into this ride from anywhere along its route, or it can be added on to the Dimple Dell Loop out of Draper or Sandy for an even longer haul.
