The campgrounds in the Livingston area tend to be located on forgotten or unknown territory. The gravel roads accessing these gems don’t seem to be maintained very often. Such conditions tend to discourage more than a few from returning, but new adventurers are growing in number. Black bear and deer are commonly sighted. In addition, elk and moose move into the area at certain times of the year. With few exceptions, modern conveniences are a considerable distance from any of the campgrounds, so be prepared for any kind of weather and double-check your supplies.
